"The Blue Rose (Lil the Dancer)" by Brian Viveros

Today’s Inspiration is a group exhibition at CoproGallery, in Santa Monica, Cali., to celebrate the 20th anniversary of David Lynch’s film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, which was a prequel to Lynch’s profoundly weird, wondrous, and utterly inimitable television series of the same name. The exhibition features paintings, prints, and sculptures from artists from around the world, including a portrait of FBI chief Gordon Cole (played by Lynch himself) by artist Chris Mars, several renderings of Twin Peaks deceased maiden-vixen Laura Palmer, and the above portrait, “The Blue Rose (Lil The Dancer)”, by Brian Viveros. To preview the full exhibition, visit CoproGallery’s website.
