The City of Miami is 125 years old. Luckily, with all the fillers and Botox, it doesn't look a day over 25. HistoryMiami celebrates the milestone with its latest exhibit, "It's a Miami Thing," which focuses on the museum's vast collection of artifacts and archival materials. Items on display include everything from unearthed Tequesta artifacts from 800 A.D. to a cape from pop-culture icon and astrologer Walter Mercado. 305-375-1492

Sean Kenney's Lego exhibitions have been wowing audiences since 2012. The New York-based artist is one of the few people the Lego Group has allowed to buy bricks in bulk purchases. His latest tour exhibit, "Nature Connects," has landed at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden through August 28. Spread across the idyllic setting, you’ll find 30 of Kenney’s giant sculptures created out of Lego blocks. The exhibition challenges visitors to explore how the natural world can be interconnected, similar to the interconnection made with the assembly of Lego pieces. 305-667-1651

Pérez Art Museum Miami’s newest exhibition, “Marisol and Warhol Take New York,” explores the rise of two of pop art’s most influential figures. Both artists held a central position in the scene and its rising popularity in the early 1960s. The exhibition takes a closer look at Marisol and Andy Warhol's friendship and artistic expression during an eight-year space, from 1960 to 1968, while examining their influence on one another’s work. 305-375-3000

The latest show at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, "Fire Figure Fantasy," is the first major exhibition of the museum's permanent collection, with a focus on recent acquisitions.
